The Government of Saskatchewan is developing options for changes to the configuration for the Highway 11 and Pasqua Street interchange, located in northwest Regina.
This functional study is long term planning and will assist in developing a more detailed design option. No date has been set for when construction would begin.
The location is near the Sherwood Industrial Park. The revised interchange will ensure the road network can serve the future needs of urban and highway traffic.
The study focuses on potential modifications to improve capacity and safety. It will also look into existing interchange issues and future requirements.
Some of the key issues we are considering include:
- Traffic queuing back onto Highway 11 on the westbound off-ramp
- Traffic delays at the interchange and adjacent intersections
