Meadow Lake Regional Transportation Study

Introduction

The Government of Saskatchewan wants to hear from you about transportation in Meadow Lake and surrounding area.

Background

The Ministry of Highways, City of Meadow Lake, and Rural Municipality of Meadow Lake No. 588 are developing a regional transportation plan that identifies the long-term needs of the Meadow Lake area.

The plan will focus on:

  • Efficient movement of goods, specifically for the forestry, mining, and agricultural industries.
  • Access to services and amenities in the City of Meadow Lake, with a focus on its role as a regional hub.
  • Access to nearby parks and recreation areas such as Meadow Lake Provincial Park.
  • Improving safety for all road users.
