Back by popular demand, Government House is welcoming guests to Victorian Supernatural Superstitions Tours at 4607 Dewdney Avenue in Regina.
Built in 1891, Government House was once the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of the Northwest Territories. It now serves as the official office of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan and as a public museum.
Based on Victorian superstitions, the tour describes several elaborate rituals the Victorians created. Guided by the Brown siblings, who used to work at Government House at the beginning of the 20th Century, the tour brings visitors through the museum, while explaining the haunted Victorian superstitions.
"Government House is pleased to offer a spooky Halloween experience for our braver guests," Government House Manager Brie Hnetka said. "A festive event like this is the perfect opportunity for visitors to experience Government House this fall and learn about one of Regina's most historic, and ghostly, museums."
Tours will take place every 30 minutes starting at 6 p.m., on October 21, 22 and 28, 2021. The last tour takes place at 8:30 p.m. Parental guidance is suggested. This tour is not recommended for young children.

Government House staff, volunteers and visitors will be wearing protective face masks. Effective October 1, a provincial requirement for proof of vaccination or negative test will be implemented for public access to a list of establishments, including Government House.
