The Minister of Justice and Attorney General has appointed Barry Wilcox, Q.C. as the interim Chief Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission.
"I would like to thank Mr. Wilcox for agreeing to act as Chief Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission," Justice and Attorney General Minister Gordon Wyant said. "I am confident that the Commission will be able to fully serve the people of Saskatchewan under his leadership as we search for a new permanent Chief Commissioner."
Mr. Wilcox has been a commissioner with the Human Rights Commission since 2011 and has served as Deputy Chief of the Commission since 2018.
