Coroners Service Investigation Into Death At Royal University Hospital

The preliminary investigation conducted by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service indicates the male found deceased on October 1 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon died as a result of self-harm.

The coroners service continues to investigate with the assistance of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the Saskatoon Police Service.  The family and parties involved have been provided with this information.

Given the ongoing nature of the investigation, the Coroners Service will not be commenting further at this time.
