Anticipation is building as the Royal Saskatchewan Museum’s most popular fundraising event, Artifact/Artifiction: A Game of Deception, Deduction and Discovery is set to return on March 16, 2018.
“Artifact/Artifiction is an event like no other as participants listen carefully to men and women of science to determine who is sharing a marvel of the natural world and who is stating 'facts' with fingers crossed behind their back,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Gene Makowsky said. “In the end, everyone wins by having a great time and helping the museum advance its scientific research.”
Held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., the evening will include a raffle, silent auction and entertainment. Appetizers are generously provided by Save-On-Foods and the cash bar features draft from Rebellion Brewing Company. Guests must be 19 years or older to attend.
Tickets are available for $75 per person or a group of eight for $600 and can be purchased online at www.royalsaskmuseum.ca, at the Museum Gift Shop, by calling 306-757-5951 or via email to michelle.hunter@gov.sk.ca. Tax receipts are available. All proceeds from Artifact/Artifiction go to the Royal Saskatchewan Museum’s Graduate Student Scholarship.
The Royal Saskatchewan Museum is located at 2445 Albert Street in Regina. Free parking is provided in the lot adjacent to the museum.
