Residents Invited to Government House to Greet Their Royal Highnesses, the Earl and Countess of Wessex

Public Encouraged to Use #skrv16

Residents are encouraged to gather at Government House to give a Saskatchewan welcome to Their Royal Highnesses, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, during their June 22-24 visit to the Queen City.

“Our province and its people have welcomed many members of the royal family over the years, and our connection to Canada’s sovereign remains strong,” Premier Brad Wall said.  “On behalf of the people of Saskatchewan, welcome to the Earl and Countess of Wessex on this, her very first visit to our province.”

While in Saskatchewan, The Earl and Countess will visit locations within the City of Regina and surrounding area, and residents are welcome to join Their Royal Highnesses at Government House for a walkabout on Ceremonial Drive at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Residents are encouraged to share their royal experiences and celebrate Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to Saskatchewan via social media with the hashtag #skrv16.
