A public inquest into the death of Gerald Lord has been scheduled for March 7 - 11, 2016, at the Regina Court of Queen’s Bench.

Lord, 42, was fatally shot on September 11, 2013, in an altercation with RCMP in Holdfast.  Section 19 of The Coroners Act, 1999 states that the Chief Coroner may direct that an inquest be held into the death of any person.
