Public Servants to be Honoured Tonight in Provincial Capital

The 2015 Premier's Award for Excellence in the Public Service will be presented tonight in Regina to six impressive teams.

“Congratulations to our 2015 recipients,” Deputy Premier and Minister responsible for the Public Service Commission Don McMorris said.  “Your outstanding example of hard work, dedication and innovation helps build an even better province for the people of Saskatchewan.”

Provincial public employees are recognized in the categories of Innovation, Quality Service and Leadership.
Recipients for this year are:
  • Help Me Tell My Story Team, Ministry of Education (Innovation);
  • Duty to Consult Process Team, Ministry of Government Relations (Leadership);
  • Rapid Growth Communities Team, Ministry of Government Relations (Quality Service);
  • 2014 Flooding Response Team, Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (Quality Service);
  • Serious Violent Offender Response Team, Ministry of Justice (Innovation); and
  • Innovative Safety and Attendance Support Team, Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (Leadership).
