Reminder: You Have Until December 15 to Provide Northern Wildfire Feedback

Residents, Communities and Industries Affected Encouraged to Provide Comment and Experiences

Today, Government Relations Minister Jim Reiter reminded the public they have until December 15 to provide feedback on the provincial response to the 2015 wildfire season in northern Saskatchewan, as part of the province’s commitment to conduct a comprehensive review.

“Thank you to everyone who has participated so far,” Reiter said.  “We want to listen to those most affected to see if we are able to make enhancements for emergency preparedness and future responses.  I encourage those who have yet to use the available feedback tools to do so.”

The online survey, launched in October, is available by clicking the Wildfire Response Survey link at www.saskatchewan.ca/haveyoursay.

Paper copies of the survey are available at northern municipal and band offices, along with the Northern Municipal Services Office in La Ronge.
