Recipients Announced for Premier's Award for Excellence in the Public Service

Today, Premier Brad Wall announced six exceptional teams that will receive the Premier’s Award for Excellence in the Public Service for 2015.

“Saskatchewan has long been known for the professionalism and quality of the employees in our provincial public service,” Wall said.  “The teams we are recognizing have made major contributions to the effectiveness of our government.  Through their efforts, they also exemplify the high caliber of all our public servants who work tirelessly to deliver programs and services to, and on behalf of, the people of this province.”

Saskatchewan public service employees are recognized in three award categories: Innovation, Quality Service and Leadership.

The team recipients for this year are:

  • Help Me Tell My Story Holistic Assessment Team, Ministry of Education (Innovation)
  • Duty to Consult Process Guide Development Team, Ministry of Government Relations (Leadership)
  • Rapid Growth Communities Team, Ministry of Government Relations (Quality Service)
  • 2014 Flooding Response Team, Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (Quality Service)
  • Serious Violent Offender Response Team, Ministry of Justice - Corrections and Policing (Innovation)
  • Exemplary Leadership in the Development and Implementation of Innovative Safety and Attendance Support Team, Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (Leadership)
