Lou William Itcush operating as Pillow Talk Lingerie of Moose Jaw has been found guilty of four charges under Saskatchewan’s Labour Standards Act and was fined $690 in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on July 22.
The charges were laid after the owner failed to provide records, pay final wages and pay annual holiday pay for two employees. Two other charges were stayed.
The Labour Standards Division of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety supports fair and equitable workplace practices through public awareness and enforcement of The Labour Standards Act and regulations as well as other labour legislation. Whenever necessary, violators will be prosecuted.
