Regina Magazine Publisher Found Guilty of Labour Standards Violations

Fine Lifestyles Regina Ltd. has been found guilty of two charges under Saskatchewan’s Labour Standards Act and was fined $620 in Regina Provincial Court on December 16, 2013.

The charges were laid after the owners failed to keep proper records and pay final wages within 14 days of termination of employment.  One other charge was withdrawn.

In relation to the same incident, six charges against Wayne Unruh and Randy Liberet, owners of Fine Lifestyles Regina Ltd, were withdrawn.

The Labour Standards Division of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety supports fair and equitable workplace practices through public awareness and enforcement of The Labour Standards Act and regulations as well as other labour legislation.  Whenever necessary, violators will be prosecuted.
