Alana Ross was first elected as the MLA for Prince Albert Northcote in the 2020 provincial election and was re-elected in 2024.

In November 2024, Alana was appointed Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport, as well as Minister responsible for Status of Women, Minister responsible for Liquor and Gaming Authority, and Minister responsible for Tourism Saskatchewan.

She has been employed in the province's health care sector as a front-line nurse, unit union rep, in the management team and as a post-secondary instructor.

Alana has three grown children, one grandchild, and resides in Prince Albert Northcote.
