International Student Program Administrative Guidelines

The Government of Saskatchewan has temporarily paused applications for designation in the Saskatchewan International Education Program (ISP).

Post-secondary education institutions interested in becoming designated to host international students for programs longer than six months will not be able to apply for designation until January 2026.

Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions that would like to host international students for programs six months or longer in duration need to be designated by the Ministry of Advanced Education. The Saskatchewan Designation Framework for the International Student Program outlines the criteria Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions must meet to become designated. (French: Cadre de désignation - Programme des étudiants étrangers)

All post-secondary institutions that would like to host international students must complete the Application for Designation for the International Student Program (French: Demande de désignation - Programme des étudiants étrangers) and forward to:

Student Services Centre
1120 - 2010 12th Avenue
