Government of Saskatchewan ministries, Crown corporations and organizations are implementing contingency plans to minimize the impacts of a potential postal service disruption.
Paying Vacation at the End of Employment
Vacation pay is calculated on the employee's "wages" for each year. Since pay instead of notice is part of an employee's wages, the vacation pay calculation must include any pay instead of notice.
Employers can't require employees to take vacation or pay vacation pay during notice periods.
