     Public Holiday Pay Calculator


Use the Public Holiday Pay Calculator to figure out much to pay an employee for the public holiday.

In addition to public holiday pay, employees who work on a public holiday should also be paid 1.5 times the employee's hourly rate for all hours worked on the public holiday.

Before using the calculator, review what is included in Public Holiday Pay calculations.

Overtime, discretionary bonuses and gratuities are not included in the calculation. Performance bonus pay and commissions earned are included in the calculation.
