Diagnose Pest Problems

The Crop Protection Lab provides diagnostic services to help growers identify and deal with pests that affect production.

We offer diagnostic services in the areas of: plant health, insects, weed control and herbicide resistance screening.

How to Submit Samples

The Lab is open year-round to diagnose problems and recommend solutions using up-to-date technology and expertise. Please submit samples by mail, courier or in person. A complete Crop Protection Diagnostic Lab Form is required with every sample.

Honeybee pest diagnostics fees:

  • Tracheal mite - $15
  • Varroa mite - $5
  • Nosema disease - $10
  • Combined test for all three pests - $25
