Irrigation Regulatory Requirements

The Irrigation Act, 2019 and The Irrigation Regulations, 2020 are the legislative instruments that govern irrigated agriculture in the province of Saskatchewan. The purpose of the Act is to promote, develop and sustain irrigation in Saskatchewan.

Irrigators, irrigation districts and the Irrigation Crop Diversification Corporation are required to follow and adhere to the Act and Regulations in order to be in compliance.
