Released on March 4, 2016

The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) issued two temporary cease trade orders on March 1, 2016, against LBinary and Chelestra Limited, and Options Rider and Option One (Aust) Pty Ltd.  The orders expire on March 14, 2016, and may be extended as necessary.

The orders direct that all trading in securities shall cease and that the companies are prohibited from utilizing any exemptions otherwise available under Saskatchewan securities laws.  The companies have binary options trading platform websites, www.optionrider.com and www.lbinary.com, and facilitate trades for users.  The companies are not registered to trade in securities in Saskatchewan.

Anyone who has information about the companies or has used the websites is asked to contact the FCAA Securities Division at 306-787-5645.

Remember to watch for red flags when investing:
  • High returns on low risk investment;
  • Urgent or one time offers; and
